Informal Science Education Association of Texas is nonprofit organization whose mission is to inspire, connect, and support the diverse informal science education community to strengthen science learning in Texas.


ISEA respects the intellectual property of others. If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that infringes on copyright or other intellectual property rights, please notify ISEA by following the procedure outlined below.


ISEA will review and investigate claims of infringement and take appropriate action in line with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), trademark laws, and other relevant intellectual property regulations. To submit a complaint, please email your notice to: texasinformalscience@gmail.com 

 

For your notice to be effective, it must be written and include the following details:

  • An electronic or physical signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the intellectual property owner;

  • A description of the copyrighted work, trademark, or other intellectual property you believe has been infringed;

  • A detailed description of where the alleged infringing material is located on our services, so we can locate it;

  • Your address, phone number, and email address;

  • A statement affirming your good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the intellectual property owner, its agent, or the law;

  • A statement under penalty of perjury confirming that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are either the intellectual property owner or authorized to act on their behalf;
